How can i hook up two computers to one modem?

I have 2 computers but i only use internet on one and im trying to use internet on both can i hook up the other one to my modem and use the internet on it? I have a quest M1000 modem

jedger44 		Get a router. You might want to consider getting one that can handle wired or wireless connections.
The advantage of this is that you can stay connected on a laptop all over the house if it has wireless capability. If not you can always get a dongle to enable it to be wireless.
