Is it legal to keep Scorpions as pets in Australia?

Hi there. Last night I found a small scorpion crawling along the hall way in our house. I was just wondering if it is legal to keep these as pets.

Alexis 		I don't see why not. When I was a kid in the Western US, we kept them as pets all the time. Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems to us here in the states that Australia is less concerned with making laws for everything little thing like they do here.

Remember: the small one's have the nastiest venom.

Jsmith 		If you don't tell anyone, no one will know. But you have to realize that these things do bite and many are poisonous.
