Jsmith 		DinoDino must have missed the story of the $300 million bribe that was paid to the Senator from Louisiana to garner her vote.This was after she expressed her concern to Harry that she was having trouble voting for the health care bill.I guess 300 million to her state gave her a different view.Sure am glad the money didn't go to lobbyists like in the past.I guess this might be a new brand of politics.Openly bribe members of Congress to secure their vote.

Jsmith 		Yes, he did promise that and no he has not followed through on it. Not sure what his answer would be to your question.

A step in the right direction. We will never be able to completely stop the influence of lobbyists and special interests, but this is a step in the right direction.

He certainly isn't allowing special interest and lobbyists to write legislation like Bush and Cheney did.
